TACH, the Trans Am Club of Houston, was started in 1996 by Bob Wicker. Bob had just purchased a 1976 Trans Am and wanted to join a local Firebird club. To his dismay, the Gulf Coast Trans Am Club had ceased to exist in 1993 after having been around since 1976. So, Bob started TACH. He initially got the club going by placing flyers on Firebirds he saw being driven around Houston.
Today, TACH members enjoy meets, cruise ins, car shows and other car related activities and social events together.
Our Monthly meet is the first Saturday of every month at Otto's BBQ in the Fountains shopping center in Stafford. Please see the attached mapquest link for a map.
