Here's what edmunds.com has to say about the 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am:

"Powerful V6, spectacular V8, true muscle-car performance at a bargain price."

"Performance from the Corvette-derived LS1 V8 is nothing short of astounding, with its standard 310 horsepower providing enough grunt to get the Firebird to 60 mph in just over 5 seconds. Want even more? The WS6 performance package available on the T/A adds a ram-air induction hood good for 15 extra ponies, a dual-outlet exhaust system, power steering cooler and a specially tuned suspension that makes use of 275/40ZR17 high-performance tires to keep the Ram Air Firebird planted to the ground."

Hello,
I have a 77-81 Shaker Hood for sale. Pulled from my 81 TA I am restoring. I put a turbo hood on and no longer need the old one. The hood is in good shape. There is a minor rust spot that needs to be taken care of and it would need a good sand blasting to see if there is anything else. I have it on craigslist for 200 obo. For this forum I would go 150.00. I live in Pearland tx and local pickup is prefered.

If anyone is interested, please email tgermaine@msn.com and I will send pics of the hood to you.

Thanks everyone.

I have a functional T-10 four speed up for grabs that I am taking offers on, as well as a NICE ’73 Formula hood. Please let the TACH parts hounds know that I am taking offers on both. The T-10 is in a car that is being converted back to PHS specified W72 auto car. I have driven the car and the tranny works well.

I bought this car in 1984 with 50,000 miles on it. There is a very detailed listing on eBay for it. The only reason I am selling it is because I was in a near fatal motorcycle accident 15 years ago and can't really do that kind of work anymore. The car has been in storage for 15 years and I have decided that there is no reason to leave it sitting for another year. THe eBay listing explains why the motor is on a stand. I can assure you it is one of those rare finds you only read about where someone has a car tucked away somewhere that no one else knows about but the owner. I live in Tomball but the car is stored in the Humble/Kingwood area.
